If you are anything like us here at Reforming Indy, your life can get a little hectic at times, maybe even down right insane! With crazy schedules it can be hard to keep the balance with our healthy eating habits. One of our favorite ways to get on track and retrain our bodies and minds to crave all the good stuff is by doing a juice cleanse.  Now wait, before your scoff or roll your eyes, read on…

It is a great way to give your digestive system a break while getting your body the vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and enzymes it needs. It also boosts the immune system.  Juice cleansing can help with so many different issues. Skin conditions, allergies, insomnia just to name a few . Wherever you are in your diet, Juice Cleansing can jump start you into a pattern of better health and better choices. If you have never done a juice cleanse before there can be several misconceptions about them. Please know that none of us at Reforming Indy do the cleanse to lose weight. It is not a fast. If you are thinking about trying a cleanse we suggest consulting your health care physician and beginning with a 1 day cleanse to see how your body does.

Coach Kaity, Ashley, Kristen and myself (Cat) have all done the Natural Born Juicers 3 Day Juice Cleanse several times each and have fallen in love with their program. Natural Born takes the guessing work out of it if you are a novice juicer or if you simply don’t have the time to prep.  They make it so easy.  Our favorite is the 3 Day Advanced Cleanse, which contains 6 juices a day for 3 days.  That doesn’t sound like a lot but it is so much juice that you rarely (if ever) start to feel hungry because you are so full!  Also they basically give you what tastes like a milkshake for your last juice of the day, yum.

We try to ease our bodies into the 3 day cleanse by adding juice to our daily routine a few days before and the same goes for after we finish the cleanse.
